The Alfa Romeo 4C and 4C Spider (960 series) is a mid-engine lightweight sports car produced between 2013 and 2020 at the Maserati facility in Modena across approximately 9,100 total units. Conceived as a modern incarnation of the legendary 1967 33 Stradale predecessor, the 4C was engineered around an exotic Dallara-developed 143-pound carbon-fiber monocoque tub, aluminum subframes, and low-density Sheet Moulding Compound composite bodywork. Powered by a transverse mid-mounted 1.75-liter all-aluminum turbocharged inline-four producing 237 hp paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and completely unassisted manual steering, the 4C delivered an uncompromising, tactile sports car experience unmatched by contemporary competitors.
