Bentley Flying Spur (2005)

2005–2012·Series Flying Spur (2005)

The first-generation Bentley Continental Flying Spur debuted for the 2006 model year, adapting the groundbreaking engineering of the Continental GT coupe to a stretched 120.7-inch executive wheelbase. Handcrafted at Crewe, it paired a 552 hp 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine with permanent Torsen all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, and continuous electronic damping. Capable of carrying four or five occupants in opulent Connolly leather luxury while reaching 195 mph, the Flying Spur became the world's most formidable super-saloon. In 2008, the 600 hp Flying Spur Speed breached the 200 mph threshold, establishing an unassailable benchmark for cross-continental velocity.
