1988 Alfa Romeo Milano Verde 75/Milano
164,000 mi - TMU · manual · Merrimac, MA
The Alfa Romeo Milano and 75 (161 and 162B series) is a celebrated Italian sports saloon manufactured at the Arese factory between 1985 and 1992 across 386,767 total units. Unveiled to commemorate Alfa Romeo 75th anniversary, the model represents the final rear-wheel-drive platform engineered by Alfa Romeo prior to Fiat acquisition. Styled by Ermanno Cressoni with an aggressive wedge profile, the 75 combined a front-mounted engine with a rear-mounted clutch and transaxle gearbox, de Dion rear axle with Watts linkage, and inboard disc brakes. From the innovative dual-plug 2.0-liter Twin Spark to the flagship 3.0-liter Busso V6 Milano Verde, the 75 remains revered for its near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution and pure analog driving dynamics.
