Our read
The 1971 Porsche 911 S retains its 2.2-liter air-cooled flat-six and five-speed manual transmission, with a current-owner service record covering updated timing-chain ramps and idler arms, rebuilt tensioners with safety guards, valve adjustment, and resealed magnesium covers. Heat exchangers and the sport muffler were cleaned and recoated, and the fuel hoses and fuel filter were replaced with original-style components. The current owner also includes never-installed factory embellisher, bumper skirt, and muffler parts for a stock-style configuration.
