GarageScout Take

The first U.S.-market Dino 246 GTS, according to Marcel Massini documentation, was delivered to Bill Harrah’s Modern Classic Motors in Reno in June 1972 and sold to its first owner the following month. Its numbers-matching 2.4-liter V6 and five-speed transaxle were rebuilt, and the suspension refurbished, in 1998. The ownership trail runs from the original owner through a brief second owner in 1998, a third owner from 1998 to 2021, and the current fourth owner. It was previously listed on Bring a Trailer in March 2020; bidding reached $411,000 without meeting the reserve.
