GarageScout Take

A genuine Porsche 911 roof section was integrated into the factory-reinforced Cabriolet chassis, followed by Van Thull Developments carbon-fiber backdate bodywork and a Platinum Silver Metallic refinish. Its William Knight-built 4.0-liter flat-six produced 349.8 wheel horsepower after break-in and tuning, while AASE Motorsports rebuilt the G50 gearbox with a Wavetrac limited-slip differential and AASco lightweight flywheel. It was previously listed on Bring a Trailer in August 2026, where bidding reached $300,000 without meeting the reserve.

Strengths

  • Documented 4.0L engine build and dyno results
  • Rebuilt G50 with Wavetrac limited-slip differential
  • BBi and Bilstein PSS16 suspension package
