GarageScout Take

The 993 Carrera Targa uses a power-operated glass roof panel that retracts beneath the rear window, and this example has been modified with Elephant Racing monoball control arms, solid rear subframe mounts, bump steer-correcting tie rods, and a front strut tower brace. The current owner acquired it in 2011, and recent service included valve cover gaskets, timing chain cover gaskets, ignition wires, engine oil, and transmission fluid. It was recovered from a theft after an accident at 92,000 miles, repaired with rear-quarter, decklid, rear-bumper, and rear-suspension work, and issued a rebuilt title.
