The homologation Carrera RS specification includes the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six, close-ratio six-speed manual, reduced sound insulation, lightweight interior components, thinner glass, aluminum body panels, and deleted comfort features. It is finished in Polar Silver Metallic with RS-specific front aero treatment, a fixed rear spoiler, and 18-inch Speedline wheels. The 993 Carrera RS was never officially offered in the United States.
