SuperSport 001 was built by Abreu Motors over three years, with the original 964 chassis stripped to bare metal and converted to long-hood, wide-body form. The numbers-matching flat-six received an engine-out nut-and-bolt restoration and displacement increase to 4.0 liters with a GT3 crankshaft, Capricorn pistons, bespoke camshafts, high-flow injectors, and a custom ECU.
