The 1972-only external oil filler is mounted behind the passenger door, and the car retains its original Gulf Blue color after a glass-out repaint. The 2023 to 2024 refurbishment included a resealed engine, rebuilt transmission, new clutch, starter, bushings, hoses, 11-blade fan, and heat exchangers. A borescope inspection and leak-down test found that an engine rebuild was unnecessary.
