GarageScout Take

A replacement 2.7L flat-six with Weber carburetors was already installed when Dr. Karl Hens acquired the car, reportedly sourced from a circa-1974 Porsche 911. It retains period-correct 1968 911 vinyl-and-cloth sport seats, 911S-sourced ventilated disc brakes and anti-sway bars, Koni shocks, a sunroof, and a Blaupunkt radio. The car is offered with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a clean Pennsylvania title in the current owner's name.

Strengths

  • 2.7L engine and Weber carburetors
  • Period-correct sport seats
  • 911S braking and suspension components

Watch For

  • Replacement engine is not original and its exact source is uncertain
  • Seller notes that not all imperfections may have been detected during preparation
