GarageScout Take

Raced throughout the mid-1960s and later used in vintage competition by Duane Spencer, this 356B was recommissioned in the late 1980s and repainted red after its final full race at Riverside in July 1988. It has a 901 five-speed transaxle and 911-specification rear suspension, with the replacement flat-four fitted with AA Performance 86mm pistons and cylinders by Patrick Motorsports in 2020. The engine came from a 1965 356C and uses SC-specification cylinder heads and a custom camshaft.
