Seven years of modification brought Galaxy Blue paint, smoothed bodywork, DeSoto headlight trim, 1956 Mercury taillights, an extended hood scoop, shaved doors, Eldorado-sourced side vents, and a one-off 1/2-inch aluminum grille. A BluePrint 306ci V8 with Weiand intake and Holley carburetor drives through a retrofitted five-speed manual to a 3.23 9-inch rear end, with a Champion radiator, headers, Turbo mufflers, and custom driveshaft. The interior has custom brown upholstery, sueded inserts, woodgrain-style trim, Classic Auto Air, a banjo wheel, and a tilt column.
