GarageScout Take
King Motorsports Unlimited rebuilt and over-bored the B18C1 in 2014 at approximately 118,000 miles, fitting Wiseco forged pistons, Carrillo Pro-A connecting rods, a replacement crankshaft, Brian Crower valve retainers, and a Hondata S300 ECU. The engine was dyno-tuned at that time to 213 wheel horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. The five-speed transaxle was rebuilt with Synchrotech carbon-lined synchronizers and replacement bearings, while a Quaife limited-slip differential, replacement clutch, and flywheel were installed.
