GarageScout Take

This 1958 Eldorado Seville is a partial restoration project with 20,000 miles, stored indoors for decades which preserved its frame and floors well. It features a rebuilt original engine but requires full reassembly, refinishing, and missing exterior trim pieces restoration.

Strengths

  • Garaged indoors continuously since the 1970s, preserving underside condition.
  • Rebuilt 365ci V8 engine with tri-power intake completed in 2018.
  • Original curved windshield and body glass present in good condition.
  • Includes owner’s manual and clean Washington title in seller’s name.

Watch For

  • Partially refinished body with main panels stripped to bare metal.
  • Missing passenger-side C-pillar logo badge and several lower stainless trim bars.
  • Front and rear bumpers require re-chroming due to oxidation and scraping.
  • Power seat motor non-functional; interior vinyl covers added in the 1970s.
