The replacement 903cc inline-four was rebuilt within the last six years with new pistons, bearings, timing gears and chain, and a cleaned cylinder head. Suspension bushings, shocks, the idler arm, front calipers, and rear wheel cylinders were replaced or rebuilt in 2023. The car was refinished from its factory Positano Yellow to metallic brown in the 1980s.
