The naturally aspirated six-speed configuration is the point here, with the build sheet and unmodified presentation keeping this E82 close to its original specification. Mileage sits near the high end for the generation, and the repaired quarter panel, repainted bumpers, underbody corrosion, and undocumented recent service deserve weight.

Strengths

  • Naturally aspirated 3.0-liter inline-six with the 6-speed manual transmission.
  • Carfax reports no accidents or mileage discrepancies.
  • Build sheet documents the Premium Package, Style 256 wheels, power sunroof, and Harman/Kardon sound system.
  • Registered mostly in Texas and California since new.

Watch For

  • Exterior chips and scratches, clearcoat damage and orange peel on the driver's side quarter panel.
  • Front and rear bumpers were repainted, and the driver's side quarter panel was repaired.
  • Some corrosion is present on underbody components.
  • The driver's window button needs to be pulled up twice to close the window; the reported May 2026 service has no supporting documentation.
