GarageScout Take

GM used this non-sunroof CTS-V Wagon as one of two press, demo, and track cars, including its 2011 debut at Monticello Motor Club. At approximately 7,600 miles, it received a replacement LSA V8, rear differential, and axles before being sold to its first private owner; the GM race team also fitted a transmission cooler. It has a rebuilt title, and the seller reports a supercharger isolator coupler needing replacement, intermittent passenger airbag illumination, an inoperative passenger-seat recline function in one direction, and occasional backup-camera static.

Strengths

  • Non-sunroof slick-top configuration
  • GM program history
  • Replacement LSA V8 and driveline
  • Recaro seating

Watch For
