Mac Davis purchased the car new, and Carroll Shelby later autographed the dashboard with a message to him. It was exported to Canada and acquired by the seller in 2012, with approximately 1,000 of its 6,000 miles added under current ownership. The oil, coolant, and brake fluid were replaced in June 2023.
