A replacement 5.0-liter V10 was installed under BMW warranty in November 2010 at approximately 37,000 miles, with later service including the thermostat and alternator in 2022 and the spark plugs and ignition coils in 2024. The steering rack was also replaced under BMW warranty in November 2010, and the front thrust-arm bushings, tires, and differential pinion seal have since been replaced.
