The documented replacement M96 and comprehensive 2019 clutch service give this 996.2 a traceable mechanical history at mileage near the high end for the generation, while Basalt Black is uncommon among observed examples.

Strengths

Watch For

  • The seller notes faded paint on the upper passenger-side door, scratches on the front fender, a windshield chip, and chips on the lower front bumper cover.
  • Interior trim has scratches and wear, the cupholder will not stay closed, and the driver’s door lock does not operate with the key.
  • The Washington title lists the odometer status as “Exempt.”
