GarageScout Take
Mugello Blue over Ebony, backed by its original Palo Alto delivery specification and unusually traceable first-owner history, gives this C5 RS6 a well-defined identity. The tradeoff is a modified powertrain and visible cosmetic and cabin wear, including chipped paint, loose headliner upholstery, and worn touch points.
Strengths
- Major 2022 timing-belt service is documented, with engine mounts replaced in 2023 and valve-cover gaskets in 2024.
- Replacement transaxle dates to 2011, with transmission and differential-output seals replaced in 2023.
- Factory Dynamic Ride Control and sport suspension.
Watch For
- Chipped paint, faded clearcoat on the top of the rear bumper cover, a scrape, and cracked left-headlight trim are shown or noted.
- The cabin has cracked trim, loose headliner upholstery, and worn touch points.
- The engine and exhaust have been modified with Revo Stage 2 software, metal diverter valves, and a Milltek cat-back system.
