GarageScout Take

Ford commissioned Ida Automotive to build this twin-turbocharged Ranger for the 2002 SEMA Show, and the Deluxe Marti Report identifies it as a Test Vehicle. A 2002 SEMA booth decal remains on the windshield, while the build retains Ford-supplied Harley-Davidson components alongside the Garrett twin-turbo system, Perfect Power ECU, Mercury Mountaineer leather seats, 4.11:1 locking differential, four-wheel discs, and lowered suspension.

Strengths

  • SEMA show vehicle provenance
  • Ford Harley-Davidson equipment and Mountaineer leather seats
  • Documented transmission replacement

Watch For

  • ABS is disconnected and the warning light is illuminated
  • 2001 and 2003 date-code tires
  • Corrosion on underbody components
  • Repainted hood and rear roll pan, with additional exterior dents, chips, scratches, and dings
