GarageScout Take

A 5.3-liter stroker V8 with a Vortech supercharger replaced the factory engine configuration, with the 2021 rebuild costing over $50k. That work included Darton cylinder sleeves, a 4340 crankshaft, Ross Racing pistons, aftermarket camshafts, and revised engine management, followed by installation of a Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed and a McLeod RXT twin-disc clutch. The car has been in California since new, with service records, a clean California title, and a damage-free Carfax report.

Strengths

  • Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed
  • QA1 drag suspension with Wilwood front brakes

Watch For

  • Total mileage is unknown due to a mileage inconsistency reported by Carfax in February 2026
  • Cannot pass a California smog test
  • Cannot be sold to an in-state private-party buyer
  • Heavily modified drivetrain, suspension, braking, and interior
