The 5.0-liter V8 was rebuilt to 5.4 liters by Greg Brown at Precision Motorwerks in 2005 with Carrillo rods, Mahle pistons, refurbished heads, custom headers, and a custom exhaust. A second rebuild in 2008 added Nikasil-coated cylinders, replacement pistons, and SharkTuner engine-management tuning, with approximately 2,000 miles added since the 2005 rebuild. Bullet Performance recommissioned the car in 2026 with fuel-system, cooling-system, ignition, suspension, and underbody work. It was previously listed on Bring a Trailer in August 2026, where bidding reached $50,000 without meeting the reserve.
