A 1600cc dual-port replacement engine was installed in 2004, with fuel injection and a 4-speed manual transmission. The car received a repaint and interior refresh from 2004 to 2006, including restored black vinyl seats and an updated radio. Chrome steel wheels with chrome caps and tires dated 2006 are fitted.
