The L28 inline-six was completely rebuilt by Industrial Machine & Engine Supply of Santa Rosa under current ownership, with a Godzilla Raceworks fuel system, Fujitsubo exhaust, and a wiring harness upgraded with marine-grade fuses by Haan Auto. A resealed replacement 5-speed manual transmission sends power through upgraded Futofab CV axles, while Silver Mine Motors four-wheel disc brakes and a sandblasted, resealed fuel tank were also fitted. The car was cosmetically restored by a previous owner, refinished in metallic blue, and received new black vinyl upholstery and matching carpets from a Southern California specialist.
