Replacement 302ci V8 rebuilt with reworked cylinder heads by Rock Star Restorations and installed in 2014, with an Edelbrock intake and carburetor, tubular headers, and a 2024 aluminum radiator and electric fuel pump. The fuel system, power steering gearbox, and brake components were subsequently overhauled or replaced, including brake lines in 2025. The metallic copper refurbishment used PPG paint in 2014, and rust spots on the floorboards were repaired in 2025.
