A 1993 refurbishment stripped the factory Sahara Beige finish and repainted the 1974 BMW 2002TII Tii in Fjord Blue, with the front seats, door panels, and carpets reupholstered in tan vinyl. The replacement 2.0-liter M10 was fitted during that work, and the four-speed manual transmission and differential were rebuilt under previous ownership. Maintenance from 2005 through 2018 included a rebuilt fuel-injection pump, replacement fuel-injection lines, warm-up regulator, radiator, hoses, alternator, fuel-sending unit, and crankshaft seal.
