The body was removed from the frame and refinished in factory Calypso Coral during a refurbishment approximately nine years ago, which also included an overhauled drivetrain and refreshed interior. The 302ci V8 was overhauled under previous ownership, then received an Edelbrock carburetor, water pump, spark plugs, engine fan, drive belt, and thermostat in September 2022.
