GarageScout Take

Shelby American-installed engine hardware includes an aftermarket camshaft, lifters, valve springs, Holley 750-CFM carburetor, Shelby-branded intake manifold, and valve covers. The late owner acquired it in 1983, then had bodywork and a factory-yellow repaint completed around 1990, followed by additional engine-bay rust repair around 2016. It spent roughly ten years in storage before recommissioning work in 2026, with the removed camshaft and valvetrain components, uninstalled air-conditioning equipment, literature, and a Colorado title included.

Strengths

  • Shelby American engine hardware
  • Long-term single-family ownership
  • Factory-yellow bodywork history
  • Five-speed ZF transaxle

Watch For

  • True mileage is unknown
  • Tires are over 30 years old by date code
