GarageScout Take

A one-owner California car with a 1.8-liter twin-cam rebuilt by H.B. Luginbuhl Co. in 1982, followed by a top-end refresh, aftermarket camshafts, valve job, and SPICA service under current ownership. Alfaholics Fast Road suspension, GTA-style wheels, a 4.10:1 limited-slip differential, and a rebuilt five-speed transmission with a Sachs clutch were fitted between 2022 and 2025. The body was returned to silver in the 2000s after earlier yellow paint, with rust near the jack points and corrosion and overspray in the engine bay.

Strengths

  • Documented engine and drivetrain work
  • Alfaholics suspension and wheel package

Watch For

  • Rust near the jack points
  • Rock chips on the nose and dings on the right side
  • Cracked dashboard and torn driver’s seat upholstery
  • Inaccurate fuel-level readout and inoperative Sony stereo
