The three-speed automatic is an uncommon configuration among observed examples of this generation, with a 2006 engine rebuild followed by indoor storage until 2024 and a documented refurbishment trail.

Strengths

Replacement engine rebuilt by Averre’s Inc. in 2006.
Indoor storage from shortly after 2006 until the seller’s 2024 acquisition.
Refurbishment included replacement brake components, wheel bearings, ball joints, and rubber seals.
Dual Weber 34 ICT carburetors were installed in February 2026.

Watch For

Rusted sections were cut out and replaced with welded-in sheet metal, and the body and bumpers were refinished in blue.
Total mileage is unknown. The five-digit odometer shows 11,000 miles but is inaccurate, and the title has an Exempt odometer status.
The rear window defroster, clock, and fuel gauge are inoperative.
The Wolfsburg-crest horn button has visible cracks.
