The 472ci V8 was overhauled and bored 0.040" over with replacement pistons in 2015, alongside repainting the engine bay and replacing the radiator, fuel tank, fuel lines, and fuel sending unit. The three-speed automatic transmission was overhauled during the refurbishment, with a replacement torque converter, transmission lines, and transmission cooler. The car was repainted from its factory San Mateo Red, and the frame, brake hydraulics, and black convertible top were also addressed.
