A replacement 1.2-liter flat-four powers this Beetle, with dual-port heads, an Empi downdraft carburetor, and a replacement distributor fitted under current ownership. Work since the seller’s spouse acquired it in June 2023 also includes a replacement shift linkage, pushrod tubes, rear shocks, muffler tips, assorted lighting and interior components, and cleaning and waterproofing of the previously installed Britax sliding sunroof.
