Purchased new by Dr. Armand Hammer in 1963, it remained with his family until 2023, with the original invoice, bill of sale, shipping documents and correspondence between Hammer and Rolls-Royce. A family-commissioned restoration included show-quality paint, a new Connolly leather interior, new carpets with sheepskins, a new convertible top and restored woodwork.
