A pro-built 428-cu.in. V8 replaces the original 390, with MSD throttle-body fuel injection, ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds, an American Autowire harness, an aluminum radiator, and dual electric fans. The rebuilt C6 automatic transmission backs the engine, while the car also has front disc brakes, Classic Air, modernized convertible-top relays, and Classic Instruments gauges. Custom Merlot paint was applied around 2018, and the interior was recently redone in Sand Dollar vinyl with a reproduction Sports Roadster rear seat cover included.
