GarageScout Take

James Young CV100 saloon coachwork, one of 18 Continental chassis supplied in this design. Delivered new in November 1962 to Sir Egbert Cadbury through Jack Barclays London showroom, it later spent 45 years with Jay Haft, during which it was repainted metallic green. The largely unrestored car retains its original fawn leather upholstery and was factory-optioned with an electric radio, aerial, front window lifts, and full Continental instrumentation including a tachometer.

Strengths

  • James Young CV100 Continental coachwork
  • Documented enthusiast provenance
  • Largely original interior and condition

Watch For

  • Runs and drives but would benefit from servicing
  • Minor cosmetic work is required
  • Repainted in metallic green during Jay Haft ownership
