Our read
Third-place finisher in the July 1962 Pikes Peak Hill Climb, campaigned by original dealer owner Al Daniels after being traded back soon after its sale by Daniels Motors of Colorado Springs. The racing equipment was later removed, and Al Daniels’ family retained the Corvette until 2019. Service around 2020 included rebuilding the Rochester fuel injection, distributor, and generator, plus replacement of the exhaust manifolds, exhaust system, plug wires, spark plugs, fuel tank, fuel sender, and fuel lines.
