A two-decade project completed around a 2.3-liter flat-four installed in 2015, with CB Performance forged and nitrided 82mm crankshaft, H-beam rods, 94mm pistons, 044 cylinder heads, Dell’Orto DRLA 48mm carburetors, and an Engle FK8 camshaft. The engine has covered less than 2,000 miles, and power is sent through a Rancho Transaxle four-speed with a Kennedy clutch and lightened flywheel. The bodywork was built using a 1968 pan, with reinforcement bars, a black repaint, and a cloth sliding sunroof.
