Kevin Kay Restorations rebuilt the 2.9-liter engine in 2008-2009 and installed a T5 five-speed transmission, with the removed four-speed gearbox included. The factory black and beige colour combination was retained during the 2007-2009 cosmetic refurbishment, followed by mechanical and electrical service in 2020.
