GarageScout Take

The left-hand-drive H. J. Mulliner limousine body gives this Silver Wraith the chauffeur-car layout, with a partitioned rear cabin and jump seats; current ownership has also rebuilt the carburetor and replaced the fuel pump and flexible hose. Total mileage remains unverified, and the listing notes slow wipers, an inoperative Lucas driving light, failed clock and fuel gauge, headlight-housing dents, interior wear, and untested rear radio controls.

Strengths

  • H.J. Mulliner & Co. limousine coachwork with documented initial sale by J.S. Inskip in New York.
  • Reported museum history prior to the seller’s 2025 acquisition.
  • Recent fuel-system work includes a rebuilt carburetor and replacement fuel pump and flexible hose.
  • Clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

Watch For

  • Total mileage is unknown; the five-digit odometer shows 7,000 miles.
  • The windshield wipers operate slowly, the Lucas driving light does not work, and the clock and fuel gauge are inoperative.
  • Dents are present in the Lucas headlight housings, and interior wear is shown.
  • The rear radio controls have not been tested.
