The only Pinin Farina Berlinetta in the A6 1500 series built on a long-wheelbase chassis, chassis 059 was delivered new in July 1949 in dark red Amaterro. Adolfo Orsi documented its ownership history, which includes an export to the US, a move to the UK in the 1970s, a return to Italy in 1993, restoration by the late 1990s, and participation in the 2003 La Festa Mille Miglia. The matching-numbers car received recent mechanical sorting from Epifani Restorations, and is accompanied by a Maserati service manual, factory documents, early photographs, and previous registrations.
