GarageScout Take

Refurbished one-ton pickup with an orange-red metallic finish, a custom canvas caravan top, and a 170ci Champion inline-six paired with a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission. The top’s aluminum frame was fabricated in the Nevada State Prison vocational shop using archival factory drawings, and the engine is said to have been rebuilt. The current owner purchased it in 1997, reportedly from the original owner’s son, and holds a clean Nevada title in their name.

Strengths

  • Documented long-term ownership
  • Clean title history

Watch For

  • Cracks visible in the windshield and vent windows
  • Split seams in the bench seat
  • Illegible odometer and unknown total mileage
  • Additional exterior blemishes
