GarageScout Take
Purchased by Bill Snook in 1990, this One Twenty was refurbished over the following three years with a repaint in original Miami Sand, a rebuilt engine and suspension, replaced trim, and re-chromed parts. Bill and Jeff Snook drove it 700 miles in the 1994 Great American Race. Later work included a re-woodgrained dash, re-chromed garnish moldings, reupholstered brown leather front seats, a new convertible top, new carpets, hydraulic top cylinders, and a rebuilt radiator.
Strengths
- Documented Snook family ownership
- Extensive refurbishment history
- Recent clutch and throwout-bearing replacement
Watch For
- Imperfections in the 35-year-old paint
- Passenger-side running-board rubber is delaminating
- Surface rust on the exhaust system and unpainted fasteners
- Heater and clock are inoperable
