A 10-year refurbishment was completed in 2022 after the Charger had been parked by its second owner since 1981. Its 383ci V8 was rebuilt in 2018, the four-speed manual transmission was rebuilt, and the body received a Blue Me Away repaint in 2019 after replacement of the driver-side quarter panel, driver-side fender, trunk pan, drop downs, and other sheetmetal. The refurbishment is accompanied by two binders of records, a summarizing spreadsheet, and pre- and in-process photos.
