GarageScout Take

The long California ownership file, original window sticker, and service records give this Azure Aqua Monza unusually complete period context, while its factory color pairing and 164ci High Performance Turbo-Air engine remain intact. The 2022 refinish, Mileage Exempt Nevada title with a rolled odometer, fuel-pump priming issue, leaking filler neck when full, and inoperative radio are the concrete caveats.

Strengths

  • Long one-owner California history with service records and the original window sticker included.
  • Factory Azure Aqua finish with Aqua vinyl upholstery, both retained from the previous owner’s covered interior.
  • Introduced for 1964, the 164ci High Performance Turbo-Air flat six is paired with a Powerglide automatic transaxle.

Watch For

  • The car was refinished in 2022, and the listing shows flaws around the vehicle in a gallery video.
  • The Nevada title carries a Mileage Exempt odometer brand, and the rolled five-digit odometer shows 6,000 miles.
  • The factory fuel pump loses prime after several days parked, requiring approximately 15 seconds of cranking to restore fuel pressure.
  • The fuel filler neck leaks when the tank is full, and the push-button radio turns on but does not play music.
